Are there architectural guidelines that must be followed if I want to make a change to the exterior of my home in Brickyard Plantation? Yes. Our Architectural Review Board (ARB) was established to maintain the overall design concept of the neighborhood while allowing each homeowner the ability to make improvements to their property. The ARB works with each homeowner while following the covenants & restrictions and architectural guidelines to ensure the project meets all applicable conditions. An application must be submitted for any change to the exterior of a home or yard. The ARB reviews each application to ensure changes will maintain a “harmonious” appearance in our community.
How much are the homeowner association dues? The dues for 2020 are $1015. Dues are paid yearly in January and include the use of all amenities in Brickyard Plantation. There is an additional monthly fee for a spot in our boat storage yard.
Which schools are used by kids in Brickyard Plantation? Kids living in Brickyard Plantation are currently zoned for Jennie Moore Elementary School, Laing Middle School, and Wando High School. Other private and magnet schools are available as well. Mount Pleasant is District 2 of the Charleston County School System.
What amenities does Brickyard Plantation have for its residents? We have two swimming pools, a clubhouse, fitness center, five tennis courts, a basketball court, a private boat storage area, and a private boat ramp. Access to all facilities is included in the annual HOA dues, with the exception of the boat storage area (this has an additional monthly fee for those that wish to use it).
Is The Colonnade part of Brickyard Plantation? Yes. The Colonnade neighborhood, with its separate entrance off of Hwy 41, is part of Brickyard Plantation. It has its own pool and residents have access to all Brickyard Plantation amenities.
