A parcel of land within Brickyard Plantation was set aside by the developer to provide a secured location for residents to store their watercraft. Our boat storage facility is tucked away behind our soccer field and tennis courts near the front of Brickyard. This well-managed amenity provides 186 spaces for boats and watercraft of varying sizes. We limit the overall length of the boat, motor, and trailer to 30 feet. Access to the boat storage area in not included in our HOA dues. There is a small additional monthly fee for those who wish to rent a spot in our boat storage yard.
Residents wishing to take advantage of this facility should contact our Operations Manager. The manager will need the length specifications of your boat & trailer. The boat registration must be current and show a Brickyard resident’s name and show a Brickyard address. You must be in good standing with the Brickyard POA in order to qualify for a space. Our operations manager will review the spaces available and if there is not one available, you will be placed on a waiting list. You will be required to sign a sub-tenant lease agreement with the Brickyard Boatowners Association. Check with our manager before you purchase a boat, as we sometimes have boats on a waiting list depending on the size and availability of our spaces. This amenity is not managed by the POA or property manager. Brickyard Boatowners Association Inc. is a separate company, operating exclusively for the benefit of Brickyard members and is managed by its members, who elect a Board of Directors from our membership. This facility has two entry/exit gates, it is fenced in and well lighted with LED lights. We have security cameras throughout the facility. Our gates are locked, and each member pays a key deposit and receives a gate key. Our dues are designed to cover our cost of operation and provide funding for any expenditure we might foresee in the future.
